Perranporth beach, located between Newquay and St. Agnes on the North coast of Cornwall, is one of the regions most popular beaches and holiday destinations. With an endless stretch of beautiful golden sand and large dunes full of wildlife, there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and explore.
Perranporth beach is a popular surfing spot, with surf schools offering lessons from the beach and many surf shops in the town embracing the culture. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards in the peak months, and the water is very shallow, perfect for the young ones to splash and paddle in. Designated bathing areas are in place by the lifeguards to avoid any accidents with surfers.
When staying in Perranporth you are never far away from the beach, and with level access from the town to the sand, it should help take some of the stress away from getting the kids and equipment onto the beach!
To end the perfect day, there’s a bar and restaurant right on the sand for you to enjoy a bite to eat / refreshing drink as you relax and watch the sun setting…bliss.
