Mevagissey Feast Week is a jam packed festival of food, music, carnival and entertainment for the whole family. Set in and around the quaint fishing village of Mevagissey, the event is thought to be the oldest running festival in Cornwall with it’s origins going back to 1754.
Highlights will include the famous riotous carnival parade, brass bands, live music, flora dances, raft races and the Mevagissey Male Choir. Throughout the week the harbour will be full of stalls selling delicious local fresh sea food, live demonstrations, activities and entertainment for the children and an ale tent for the grown ups 😉
The festival goes out with a bang on the evening of Saturday 4th July, when Mevagissey harbour is lit up with a spectacular fireworks display!
