Falmouth week is the largest sailing regatta in the South West, with around 200 yachts racing over eight days along with a lively programme of shoreside events including a fantastic aerial display from the Red Arrows.
Falmouth Week provides a racing programme to challenge the most competitive sailors, yet retains a ‘fun and friendly’ feel which also attracts families and the less experienced. The regatta is organised by the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association (PoFSA) which is a partnership of Falmouth’s six local sailing clubs. Originally a series of independent sailing regattas with modest Shoreside activities for competitors, their families, and visitors, it is now a major event in the town’s calendar with something for everyone to enjoy.
Falmouth Week’s shoreside activities have developed a lot over the years, and thanks to our amazing sponsors and partners we now have a full schedule of daytime and evening entertainment throughout the town, including the infamous 80’s/90’s Night on Events Square courtesy of South West Bars and Events, the Outlaw Summer Market on The Moor by Outlaw Events, The Pink Wig Night and the University of Exeter’s Science in the Square.
