Towan Beach is a delightful secluded bay with shallow calm waters, perfect for those looking for a quiet, relaxing day by the sea.
Located on the beautiful, unspoilt Roseland Peninsula, facilities are kept to a minimum with only a small car park and toilets close to the beach, so a packed lunch / good book might be a good idea!
For the young ones, the shallow waters are perfect for splashing around , and at low tide there are plenty of rock pools to explore but please be aware there is no lifeguard service on the beach. There is a life bouy situated by the beach.
The Roseland is perfect for keen walkers, and from Towan Beach the South West Coast Path offers spectacular views across Gerrans Bay along the way to the delightful fishing village of Porthscatho, or head South along the coast path towards St Anthony’s Lighthouse for breathtaking panoramic views over the marine town of Falmouth. Both coastal walks are approximately 1.5miles.
