Kingsand Beach, tucked away in the South East corner of Cornwall is a sand and shingle beach, with beautiful panoramic views out over Plymouth Sound. It’s sheltered location gives Kingsand beach calm, shallow waters that are prefect for swimming and at low tide rock pools are uncovered for the children to explore.
The village of Kingsand itself is very quaint and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The narrow winding streets of pastel coloured cottages are perfect for strolling around, with the ajoining village of Cawsand is only a 2 minute walk away. From Cawsand Beach, you can take a 30 minute passenger ferry across to Plymouth Barbican which is a buzz with shops, restaurants and bars.
