One of the most secluded beaches in Padstow, tucked away along the banks of the Camel Estuary it has gorgeous untouched golden sand, backed by small grassy dunes with spectacular views across the estuary to neighbouring beach Daymer Bay.
There are no facilities on Harbour Cove, and it’s a bit of a trek to get there from the car park (see directions) so a packed lunch and good book might be an idea! This extra effort does mean though that Harbour Cove stays relatively quiet, even during the summer months and so makes a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Padstow town centre.
Whilst your relaxing watching the boats sail past, dipping your toes in the shallow crystal clear waters of the estuary you can easily think you are somewhere far far away. The scenery along the Camel Estuary is some of the most beautiful in Cornwall.
If you do get peckish, a lovely tea garden is located 500m North along the coast path serving cream teas and cakes. Perfect if you’ve been exploring!
Harbour Cove is the only beach on the Padstow side of the Estuary that is dog friendly all year, so it’s the perfect place to give your four legged friend an early morning run.
