Carne Beach

Located on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula on the south coast of Cornwall, Carne Beach is a sheltered, south-facing sand and shingle beach which at low tide stretches for over a mile. Popular with walkers and families, the beach has a very relaxed atmosphere for those looking for a quieter day by the sea.

At low tide Carne Beach joins Pendower Beach and stretches almost a mile. Whilst there are no facilities on the beach itself, a popular hotel overlooks the beach serving food and cream teas, and there’s also a vintage beach van which operates during the summer months selling cakes, teas and ice creams.
