Owned by the hotel which overlooks the beach, Carbis Bay beach has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag status in 2016 for it’s cleanliness and excellent water quality. Voted the Best resort in the UK, it really is a special place to spend your day.
The beach has plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy including a water sports centre with a wide range of activities available including Stand up paddleboarding, sailing, Kayak and Canoe hire. If you would rather spend your day by the sea relaxing, beach huts are available to hire or you can enjoy au fresco dining in the restaurant on the beach.
All amenities including car park and toilets are close by with direct access to the beach. St Ives town is easily accessible via the railway branch line, offering spectacular views along the way.
Carbis Bay beach has a small car park located next to the beach. Is this is full, there is pay & display car park 0.3 miles away on the approach road, with a 5 minute walk down to the beach. It is quite a steep slope so may be unsuitable for some.
Toilets are located just before the beach, opposite the café.
